Safety Policy
The safety of every person — students, volunteers, and team members — is a top priority.
While we cannot guarantee anyone’s absolute safety, we are committed to creating safe environments.
We strongly discourage one-on-one private meet-ups in personal spaces such as a student’s apartment or a crew member’s home, even if both parties know each other well.
Group settings or public places are always preferred.
In the event of any emergency, call 911 immediately.
Privacy Policy
We value and respect each person’s privacy.
Be mindful not to expose your own or others’ personal/private information.
Do not share anyone else’s contact info, photos, or personal stories without permission.
If personal data is collected (e.g., name, email), it is used only for ministry purposes and will be protected accordingly.
Donation Policy
To prevent fraud and honor the generosity of supporters:
Project Shalom never asks for donations to be sent to a personal account.
Crew members should not raise funds for themselves under the name of Project Shalom.
All official donation efforts will be clearly presented and verifiable.

To protect the dignity and privacy of everyone we serve:
We aim to be respectful and careful when using any photos or videos that may include students or volunteers.
By participating in Project Shalom public events or gatherings, you may appear in group photos or videos used for ministry communication and testimonies.
If any individual requests to have their image or story removed from our platforms, we will do so respectfully and promptly.
We may not be able to ask for verbal or written consent every time, but we are committed to using all media in a God-honoring and culturally sensitive way.
Anti-Harassment Policy
Project Shalom is committed to creating a safe and welcoming environment for people of all genders, cultures, and backgrounds.
Harassment of any kind — including verbal, emotional, physical, or digital — will not be tolerated.
Disrespectful language, inappropriate jokes, or unwanted attention violate the spirit of our ministry.
All concerns will be taken seriously and reviewed by our leadership.
Our standard is not just legal safety, but Christlike love and respect.
Liability Disclaimer
While we do everything in our power to create a safe, respectful, and trustworthy environment, we recognize that we cannot control every situation.
Project Shalom is a faith-based volunteer-led initiative.
We do not assume legal liability for personal losses, injuries, misunderstandings, or disputes that may arise in the course of our ministry interactions.
